Family Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary
Conduct patient-focused care across urgent care, primary medical, telemedicine, and occupational medicine services. Perform minor surgeries, suturing, splinting, and general orthopedic evaluations while reviewing x-rays, interpreting EKGs, and managing general dermatology and eye problems. Provide emergency management, GYN expertise, and treatment for children of all ages. Review of x-rays (to be over-read by Radiologist, too) Work Monday through Sunday with shifts determined two months in advance, adhering to clinic hours from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 9:00 p.m. on weekends. Requires Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification, MSN or higher education, and experience with EMR and Microsoft Office suite.
Required Qualifications
- Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification
- MSN, or higher education
- Must be available for shifts determined two months in advance
- Must work Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Must work Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Must be available for Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. at KidsStreet Clinic
- Must be available for Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. at KidsStreet Clinic
- Must be flexible working with teams in different clinics
- Must provide leadership in a high volume and fast-paced urgent care environment
- Must perform minor surgery (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
- Must perform suturing
- Must perform splinting
- Must perform general orthopedic evaluations/management
- Must review x-rays (to be over-read by Radiologist)
- Must perform general dermatology
- Must perform general eye problems
- Must perform general EKG interpretations
- Must demonstrate emergency management skills
- Must demonstrate general GYN expertise
- Must treat children of all ages
- Must provide occupational medicine
- Must provide telemedicine
- Must pass standard pre-employment background checks
- Must pass drug screens
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
