Job Summary
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries in elementary, middle, and high school students while providing direct outpatient care to school personnel. Perform minor office procedures including suturing and maintain accurate clinical documentation. Practice independently with Medical Director support while coordinating care with school staff and healthcare providers. Deliver compassionate evidence-based patient care to pediatric and adolescent populations in a school-based outpatient setting in Floyd, Virginia.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
- Active Virginia Family Nurse Practitioner License
- Active DEA Registration
- Ability to Practice Independently
- Experience Caring for Pediatric & Adolescent Patients
- Experience Performing Minor Procedures Including Suturing
- Strong Clinical Assessment Skills
- Excellent Communication Skills
