Job Summary
PRN Family Nurse Practitioner at Fast Pace Health providing a mix of clinic and telehealth patient care within a fast-paced, team-based setting. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality care, leading clinical staff, reviewing patient histories and medications, formulating diagnoses, prescribing medications, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and regulatory requirements. Roles require completing mandatory compliance training, participating in telehealth protocols, and contributing to patient satisfaction while maintaining compassionate, patient-centric care. Minimum qualifications include an MSN, an active NP license, a DEA registration, and 1-2 years of relevant provider experience, with additional requirements for credentialing and DOT certification as applicable. The position supports flexible scheduling (PRN) with full-time shifts also described, and includes both in-clinic and telehealth duties, adherence to professional standards, and collaboration with supervising physicians and clinical leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN)
- Active license as a Nurse Practitioner and current state nursing license in good standing
- DEA license active; DEA registration required within 120 days of employment
- Experience: 1-2 years as a provider in a relevant practice (e.g., Urgent Care, Occupational Medical Facility, Emergency Room/Trauma, Family Medicine)
- Ability to provide care in both clinic and telehealth settings
- Proficiency with HIPAA regulations and health information management
- Ability to meet patient volume goals in telehealth and in-patient settings
- Ability to prescribe medications and order/interpret diagnostic tests
- Compliance training and adherence to company policies
- DOT certification must be obtained within 120 days of employment (where applicable)
- Proficiency in documenting patient charts and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Ability to work in fast-paced autonomous environments and participate in continuous clinical improvement
- Bilingual or additional languages a plus (optional)
- Mississippi-specific pre-employment/drug/alcohol testing where applicable
