Job Summary

Conduct high-quality health care in clinic and telehealth settings, meeting targeted patient volume goals and delivering accurate diagnoses through analysis of histories, symptoms, and diagnostic data. Lead clinic staff in behaviors and attitudes to ensure excellent patient care, while ordering, performing, or interpreting diagnostic tests and responsibly prescribing medications for acute and chronic conditions. Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and clinical practice guidelines, and actively engage with clinical leadership to resolve concerns. Welcome new employees, facilitate introductions, and provide job shadowing and coaching to support their onboarding and training.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN)
  • Family Nurse Practitioner License
  • Active Nurse Practitioner License
  • Active DEA
  • DOT certification
  • Ability to treat all ages
  • PRN Employees are required to work a minimum of 4 shifts per month
  • Full Time Employees are required to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend
  • Responsible for on call periodically throughout the year
  • License and DEA must be active, in good standing, and verifiable with the proper regulatory agency
  • DEA required for all providers
  • DOT certification is required to be obtained by FT and PT Providers within 120 days of employment and maintained during employment
  • Ability to comply with Company standards of operations

  • Ability to consult with patients through virtual communication channels

  • Ability to pursue queue of telehealth patients in a timely fashion to ensure proper patient follow up
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment
  • Ability to provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth
  • Ability to meet patient volume goals targeted for tele and in patient as determined
  • Ability to lead clinic staff, in behaviors, actions and attitude

  • Ability to discuss and review patients' medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications
  • Ability to ask patients situation-specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses
  • Ability to actively engage with clinical leadership
  • Ability to ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely matter
  • Ability to implement clinical and Telehealth protocols as outlined CMO and Supervising Physicians
  • Ability to analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses
  • Ability to deliver excellent patient care through in-patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations
  • Ability to ensure that the activities of the Provider are conducted in a manner that is consistent with overall department expectations and are in compliance with Federal and State regulations, guidelines, and requirements including working knowledge of all health information management issues such as HIPAA
  • Ability to attend Mandatory monthly meetings with Supervising physicians and E/M training
  • Ability to perform responsibilities within standard NP protocols
  • Ability to pursue queue of telehealth patients in a timely fashion to ensure proper patient follow up
  • Ability to order, perform, or interpret the results of diagnostic tests
  • Ability to responsibly prescribe medications
  • Ability to educate patients on continued treatment and care of acute and chronic conditions
  • Ability to attest and follow clinical practice guidelines by the Office of Medical Affairs
  • Ability to complete all mandatory compliance training
  • Ability to welcome new employees on their first day in the clinic
  • Ability to actively assist new employees with learning activities and completing required training
  • Ability to support new employee training by providing job shadowing, demonstration, and coaching opportunities
  • Ability to build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees
  • Ability to maintain friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees
  • Ability to act and communicate in a manner that results in a positive work relationship with customers, co-workers and managers
  • Ability to recommend ideas within the clinic and to telehealth leadership as appropriate to improve overall patient experience and care
  • Ability to communicate regularly within team in all manners necessary to support excellent patient care
  • Ability to perform other duties as assigned by management
  • Experience Requirements and Preferences:: At least 1-2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice, such as Urgent Care or Occupational Medical Facility, ER or Trauma Unit, Family Medical Practice is strongly preferred
