Job Summary
Provide direct patient care within your scope of practice and order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess clinical needs. Serve as a resource for consultation and referrals, discuss cases with physicians to prepare comprehensive care plans, and prescribe treatments or recommend therapeutic procedures. Ensure continuity of care for hospital admissions and specialty referrals while maintaining acceptable productivity and complying with CMS coding guidelines. Document all patient activity in the EMR and submit billing codes accurately. Participate in peer review processes and uphold standards by submitting charts for review under the Collaborative Practice Agreement. Full-time position in Columbia, Missouri, with a Master's degree and active Advanced Practice Nurse certification required.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from an approved graduate nursing program
- Advanced Practice Nurse with active certification for specialty approved by the State of Missouri
- practice experience as an FNP
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
