Job Summary
Provide preventive and primary care to patients in an ambulatory setting, performing initial examinations, physical exams, and patient observations. Order and administer diagnostic tests while monitoring medical equipment, then communicate results to patients and families. Record medical histories and maintain equipment. Maintain current Texas RN licensure, DEA license, and BLS certification; bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Occasional travel required with valid driver's license. 8am-5pm M-F with weekend/evening work and on-call rotation. Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse
- Successful completion of a certified post-graduate program for nurse practitioners
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
- BSN or advanced degree
- Certification and/or license in specialty
- Current DEA license
- Current in Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (BLS)
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Current auto insurance
- Reliable and safe transportation
- English
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Primary health care
- 8am-5pm M-F
- Some weekend/evening work
- On-call
