Job Summary
Family Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care across the lifespan in a Federally Qualified Health Center, collaborating with medical, dental, and behavioral health professionals to deliver integrated services. Responsibilities include conducting physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, educating patients and families on prevention and treatment, documenting care in the EHR, and supporting outreach and community engagement. Schedule includes full-time, five days per week with two Saturdays per month and one evening clinic weekly (11:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.). Qualifications include a Master’s or Doctoral degree in a Family Nurse Practitioner program, national board certification (AANP or ANCC), active CA NP license, and DEA/BLS/EHR familiarity.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Completion of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program
- National board certification (AANP or ANCC)
- Active, unrestricted California NP license
- NP Furnishing Number (or eligibility)
- Active DEA registration and BLS certification
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
