Job Summary
Provide unscheduled care to patients at the point of contact and collaborate with clinical staff to deliver timely, appropriate medical services as an independent practitioner or in coordination with the team. Deliver health education and counseling on presenting complaints, facilitate on-site referrals and follow-up, and support access to additional on-site services. Participate in health education with patients one-on-one and in small groups, including health fairs, and provide coverage across multiple clinical units (BMS-Main and other sites as needed). Requirements include Family Nurse Practitioner certification, 2-5 years of NP experience, board certification or eligibility, bilingual abilities a plus, and strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- Family Nurse Practitioner, certification preferred
- Experience and/or training in community health center setting
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Bilingual (Spanish, French, Haitian Creole) a plus
- Computer literacy/proficiency required
- 2-5 Years' Experience as an NP
- Board Certified and or Eligible
