Family Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic tests. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans for individuals and families across the lifespan. Maintain accurate medical records and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and specialists to coordinate care for underserved populations. Educate patients on disease prevention and lifestyle modifications while participating in team huddles and clinical meetings. Work Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. Requires a Nurse Practitioner degree, current NC license, completed residency, and one year of primary care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner degree from an accredited institution
- Current North Carolina NP license
- Completed residency training
- At least one year of experience in a primary care setting functioning at the full extent of training and licensure
- Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire or transfer
- Strong commitment to practicing in a community health setting
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records system
