Family Navigator

Family Navigator at EnCompass will build families’ capacity to support children’s academic success through home, community, and school engagement. Responsibilities include assessing families’ assets and needs, creating action plans, coordinating connections to community resources, maintaining records, developing trusting home–school partnerships, facilitating school-to-home linkages, planning and supporting events, transporting families when needed, and collaborating with school staff to monitor progress. The role emphasizes flexible scheduling with evening hours and a solutions-focused approach to leverage family strengths for student success. Strong communication, collaboration with diverse teams, familiarity with developmental relationships, and proficiency with Office tools are required. Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of related experience with youth and families, plus a valid NYS driver’s license are required.
