Job Summary

Family Medicine/Internal Medicine physician openings at the Phoenix VA Health Care System. Board-eligible/board-certified physicians needed to join our Primary Care team across Phoenix 32nd Street, Phoenix Southwest, Scottsdale, and Surprise clinics. Schedule features Monday–Friday with flexible 5/8-hr or 4/10-hr shifts, no nights/weekends/on-call. Manage a patient panel of 8–18 patients per day with focus on individual care in a smaller panel setting. Benefits include excellent VA benefits, loan-repayment opportunities (EDRP up to $200,000), paid CME leave, relocation mobility, generous leave, and malpractice coverage under federal tort laws. Qualifications require BE/BC status in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine and an active U.S. medical license. Location highlights: Phoenix, AZ area. Required Qualifications

  • Board-eligible/board-certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians
  • Active U.S. medical license (1 full & unrestricted)
  • Board certification to receive CME leave eligibility (5 days)
  • Be able to obtain and maintain licensure to work at VA facility
  • MD degree or DO equivalent (implicit in medical licensure)
