Job Summary
Board-certified/board-eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians are sought to join the VA Phoenix Health Care System's Primary Care teams across multiple clinics. Responsibilities include managing a patient panel of 8 to 18 patients per day with a focus on individual patient care in a schedule that offers Monday–Friday shifts (5/8 or 4/10 hours) and no nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call duties. The role emphasizes work-life balance within the VA system, opportunities for professional growth, comprehensive VA benefits, and potential participation in the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP). Locations include Phoenix-area clinics (e.g., 32nd Street, Scottsdale, Surprise) with relocation options and substantial vacation, sick time, holidays, CME leave, and federal retirement benefits.
Required Qualifications
- board-eligible or board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- active U.S. medical license (full & unrestricted)
