Job Summary
Outpatient-only primary care physician role in a full-time, board-certified/board-eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine position with Dignity Health Medical Group - Merced. The care team includes APPs, care coordinators, and specialists; flexible scheduling with limited call; strong referral network and growing patient volume; mission-driven, physician-led group serving underserved communities. Offers sign-on, relocation assistance, PSLF eligibility, comprehensive benefits, malpractice coverage, generous PTO, retirement plan, and CME support. Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care to a diverse outpatient population, participating in collaborative team-based care, and maintaining high-quality preventive and chronic disease management. Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (ABMS or AOA)
- Active California medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA certification
- Experience in preventive medicine and chronic disease management
- Strong communication skills
- Team-oriented collaboration
