Job Summary
Outpatient-only Family Medicine/Primary Care physician role in a Mission-driven, physician-led group in Merced, CA. Employed position with flexible scheduling and limited call (telephone only), team-based care with a strong referral network and growing patient demand. Role supports 100% outpatient, primary care focus with board-certified/board-eligible physicians in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine; MD/DO required with active CA license and DEA. Compensation includes a competitive salary range ($275K-$300K) plus productivity incentives, sign-on, relocation assistance up to $20k, PSLF eligibility, comprehensive benefits, CME allowance, and other incentives. Relocation assistance offered; clinical duties emphasize preventive care and chronic disease management within a collaborative, multi-provider environment; opportunity to work within a well-established medical group affiliated with Mercy Medical Center Merced.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (ABMS or AOA)
- Active California medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA certification
- Passion for primary care with experience in preventive medicine and chronic disease management and minor office procedures
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
