Job Summary
Carbon Health is seeking a board-certified MD/DO in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine to join its national network as a Primary Care Physician in Sacramento or San Francisco. This role features a 4-day work week with no call, no weekends, and holidays off, focused patient-centered care with leadership responsibilities for a team of MAs and support staff, and supervision of PAs/NPs. Responsibilities include conducting history and physical exams, providing basic women’s health services (including Pap smears), developing evidence-based workups and treatment plans, caring for adult patients, interpreting x-rays, labs, and EKGs, and managing patient flow with Central Support. The position emphasizes innovative, technology-driven care using CarbyOS EHR, participation in clinical research where available, and opportunities for growth and incentives. Sign-on or relocation bonus offered; full-time compensation ranges from $260,000 to $367,200 with potential quarterly quality incentives.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified (MD/DO) in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Unrestricted state license or eligibility in California
- BLS certification
- DEA license or eligibility
