Job Summary
Champion the mission, vision, and goals of the Gastroenterology Fellowship Program while ensuring full ACGME accreditation and overseeing comprehensive curriculum development. Recruit, mentor, evaluate, and retain high-performing fellows; provide leadership and professional development for faculty; and foster an inclusive learning environment. Oversee program operations, resources, and budget while promoting scholarly activity, research, and quality improvement projects. Build collaborative relationships with academic institutions and community partners to enhance educational opportunities and serve as a leader for graduate medical education within Adventist Health Tulare. Maintain an active clinical and procedural practice in general and advanced gastroenterology, including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EMR, SWE, POEM, and manometry. Participate in a shared gastroenterology call rotation across Tulare, Hanford, Selma, and Reedley.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship Program
- Must hold or be eligible for an unrestricted California medical license
- Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience in Gastroenterology
- Demonstrated clinical excellence and ongoing clinical activity
- Participation in a shared gastroenterology call rotation (Tulare, Hanford, Selma, Reedley)
