Job Summary
Family Medicine Residency Faculty member provides clinical services and resident supervision in inpatient, outpatient, and OB settings, with responsibilities in teaching residents and medical students within a residency program. Mercy offers a competitive base salary with bonus and a $50,000 sign-on, plus National Health Service Corps loan eligibility and a 403B plan. The role is based at a Level Two Trauma Center in Des Moines, IA, with opportunities to participate in an integrated medical education curriculum and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine accreditation. The department consists of seven full-time faculty, including a Program Director with clinical responsibilities, and supports a robust residency program (30 residents, including rural track).
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine
- Experience teaching in residency or medical student setting
- BC/BE Family Medicine Physician
