Job Summary

Collaborate with the Program Director in the overall management and administration of the Family Medicine Residency Program, providing supervision, mentorship, and direct teaching to residents. Participate in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation to ensure compliance with accreditation standards, while coordinating clinical rotations and facilitating didactic sessions. Assist in resident recruitment, selection, and evaluation processes, and actively engage in quality improvement initiatives and institutional committees. Dedicate an average of twenty-four hours per week to residency training, maintaining clinical practice and ensuring all program aims and objectives are met. Maintain compliance with ACGME requirements and support scholarly activities and research opportunities for residents.

Required Qualifications

  • Must hold or be able to obtain a valid and unrestricted medical license from the State of California
  • Shall have completed an accredited residency program in Family Medicine
  • Shall be certified/maintain certification with the American Board of Family Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians
  • 1-3 years of Family Medicine education and/or administrative experience
  • Must receive all required vaccinations, including measles, mumps, flu, and COVID-19 vaccine, as a condition of employment
