Job Summary
Lead the recently established Family Medicine residency program by overseeing program development, maintaining ACGME accreditation, and managing curricula and experiential rotations. Direct the interview, selection, and evaluation processes for residents while providing leadership, mentoring, and teaching. Manage administrative oversight and partner with hospital and medical staff to ensure effective integration. Split time between a 0.7 FTE program director role and clinical practice options including the FM clinic or hospitalist.
Required Qualifications
- Current board certification by the ABFM or AOBFP
- 3+ years of recent PD, APD or core faculty experience
- Demonstrated ability as a leader, educator, and clinician
- History of scholarly activities/research
- Membership or committee work in FM professional associations
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills
