Job Summary
BC/BE Family Medicine with Obstetrics physician sought to join AdventHealth Wesley Chapel's Graduate Medical Education team. The role blends ~70% Family Medicine and ~30% Obstetrics with potential OB growth as the program expands. Full-time schedule includes resident supervision, personal clinical time, and administrative duties, plus collaboration with the Program Director on accreditation, resident recruitment, rotation scheduling, curriculum development, and resident coaching. Faculty will participate in program evaluation and clinical competency committees and support an educational environment aligned with ACGME competencies. Required duties include academic/clinical responsibilities, mentoring residents and medical students, and demonstrating strong communication and leadership; EPIC EMR and MS Office proficiency are expected. The position emphasizes evidence-based, patient-centered care within a growing West Florida division, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for continuing education. Call is 1:3 from home or office with one weekend of call per month; compensation includes signing bonus, moving expenses, and other benefits.
Required Qualifications
- BC/BE Family Medicine with Obstetrics physician
- ACGME accreditation experience or involvement
- equivalent educational qualifications acceptable by ACGME FM Review Committee
- proficiency with EPIC EMR and Microsoft Office
- strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
