Job Summary
Family Medicine with Obstetrics physician sought to join AdventHealth Wesley Chapel's Graduate Medical Education team. The role is a full-time academic position with a split schedule of resident supervision, personal clinical duties, and administrative responsibilities (approximately 70% Family Medicine and 30% Obstetrics, with potential OB growth as the program expands). Responsibilities include working with the Program Director on accreditation, resident recruitment, rotation scheduling, curriculum development, and resident coaching; serving on the program evaluation committee and clinical competency committee; and teaching residents and medical students. Requires excellence in communication, leadership, and collaboration; proficiency with EPIC EMR and Microsoft Office; and commitment to maintaining an educational environment aligned with ACGME competencies. Required Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine with Obstetrics (BC/BE FM/OB)
- Academic medicine experience or strong interest in medical education
- Experience with resident supervision, curriculum development, and program evaluation committees
- Ability to work with Program Director on accreditation, resident recruitment, and rotation scheduling
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to resident and medical student education and a collaborative care model
- Demonstrated professionalism and ability to model professional behavior to residents and staff
