Job Summary
Family Medicine with OB physician needed for a growing GME program at AdventHealth Wesley Chapel. 70% Family Medicine and 30% Obstetrics with pathway for OB growth as the program expands. Full-time faculty role involving resident supervision, personal clinical duties, and administrative time. Collaboration with the Program Director on accreditation, resident recruitment, rotation scheduling, curriculum development, and resident coaching; participation in program evaluation and clinical competency committees; and teaching medical students and residents. Requires strong communication and leadership, professionalism, and proficiency with EPIC EMR and MS Office. Ideal candidate has academic medicine experience, evidence-based care focus, and alignment with AdventHealth’s mission. Required Qualifications
- BC/BE Family Medicine with Obstetrics physician
- ability to supervise residents and participate in program accreditation
- experience with resident recruitment, rotation scheduling, and curriculum development
- demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills
- proficiency with EPIC EMR and Microsoft Office
- equivalent educational qualifications acceptable by ACGME FM Review Committee
- faculty responsibilities in an academic medicine setting
