Job Summary
Provide direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and care for patients using evidence-based guidelines. Manage physical examinations, assessments, and treatment plans while prescribing pharmaceuticals and regimens. Review and update medical records to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. Supervise advanced practitioners, medical students, and residents on rotations when mutually decided with the clinician and CMO. Direct and coordinate patient care activities for nursing and support staff while enforcing all PPE standards. Interact with patients and families to keep them informed and engaged in health care decisions. Provide counseling education on wellness, illness prevention, and health maintenance. Refer patients to specialists and relevant care components as appropriate. Attend meetings, trainings, community outreach activities, and continuing education opportunities as required.
Required Qualifications
- Internship and Residency completed in an accredited Family Medicine and Internal Medicine Residency Program (M.D./D.O.)
- Arizona State Physician License, active and in good standing
- Board Certified or Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (ABFM or AOBFP; ABIM or AOBIM)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- DEA
- X waiver
- Ability to speak English and Spanish preferred
- New Hires are required to pass pre-employment background check and drug testing (effective 11/1/2022)
- Current Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or must pass fingerprint clearance within 7 days following hire
