Job Summary
Board-certified/board-eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician needed for a team-based primary care practice in Locust Grove, GA. Responsibilities include delivering outpatient primary care across all ages, leveraging an optimized EMR with telehealth capability and a virtual scribe, and collaborating with cross-trained care management teams (pharmacists and social workers) embedded in clinics. Must hold or be eligible for a state medical license, be DEA-registered, and be proficient with BLS/ACLS. Requires Medicare/Medicaid enrollment eligibility and comfort with EMR systems; 2+ years outpatient experience preferred. The role emphasizes physician leadership engagement, with 1:1 leadership time, practice meetings, and town halls to support physician success.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification/eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- License or eligibility for State licensure
- BLS or ACLS certification
- DEA registration or eligibility
- Medicare/Medicaid enrollment or eligibility
- Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
- Experience: 2+ years of clinical outpatient experience preferred
- Ability to work in a team-based, patient-centered primary care setting
- Ability to participate in telehealth/virtual care workflows
- Open to value-based care models and population health approaches
