Job Summary
Family Medicine Physician provides primary health care services in a community-based FQHC setting with a focus on prevention and treatment of disease. The role involves independent practice with collaboration/supervision of nursing and physician assistants, adherence to Medical Practice Act standards, and delivery of culturally competent care across the health continuum; duties include patient history intake, physical examinations, ordering/performing diagnostic tests, developing and adjusting treatment plans, and ensuring privacy and accurate documentation within electronic health records. The position requires Illinois licensure, board certification in Family Medicine within the specified timeframe, and active participation in quality improvement and hospital privileges as applicable; compensation range is $160,000–$200,000 annually.
