Job Summary
Family Medicine Physician needed for locum-tenens coverage at a correctional facility in Virginia. The clinician will provide comprehensive family medicine services to adult patients in a on-site clinic, Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with potential four 10-hour shifts, managing about 18-20 patients per day. Prescriptive authority required; Virginia medical license, DEA registration, and board certification are required. No call coverage. Location options include Haynesville, VA and around Dillwyn, VA with on-site facility support (RNs, LPNs) and an emphasis on outpatient primary care in a secure clinical environment. The assignment duration is ASAP for 3-6 months under locum-tenens arrangements.
