Job Summary
Provide comprehensive occupational medicine services and urgent care for private companies and governmental agencies in San Jose, working 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (or until last patient), managing 20–25 patients daily with ~90% occupational medicine cases and ~10% urgent care. Perform pre-placement, DOT, public safety, and surveillance physical examinations; evaluate urgent care patients on a walk-in basis; complete all documentation promptly; coordinate with employers for medical guidance. New clinicians receive one week of orientation alongside a permanent physician, with assignments typically spanning three-month stretches at the same location.
