Job Summary
Manage a diverse panel of 1,200 to 1,500 patients in a modern primary care setting, delivering preventive care, chronic disease management, acute care, and women's health services for MIT and Lincoln Laboratory communities. Collaborate with a nurse practitioner, registered nurse, and medical assistants while leveraging an integrated electronic medical record system and connections to Cambridge-based practices. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice implementation using advanced health technology tools. Provide full-scope primary care management with structured clinic schedules designed for longitudinal relationships and meaningful preventive discussions. No hospital or nursing home coverage; call is telephone only on rotation.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO with current, unrestricted Massachusetts medical license (or ability to obtain)
- 2-3 years of post-residency practice experience in a community setting
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency
- Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine
- Current DEA license and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration
- Current BLS for healthcare providers certification
