Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive primary care for children and adults, including well-child visits, preventative screenings, and management of acute and chronic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes. Perform specialized services like EKG and pulmonary-function testing, concussion management, HIV PrEP, and sports medicine procedures. Deliver education on healthy lifestyles, nutrition, and medication therapy for opioid use disorder, while administering immunizations and joint injections. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm in a physician-led organization within the UNC Health Medical Group network.
Required Qualifications
- Medical School Graduate (MD/DO)
- Board-certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- NC State License
- DEA
- ACLS
- MD
- High-level quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills
- Ability to communicate proficiently in English
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- NC State License preferred
- BLS/ACLS certification preferred
- Board-certified in Internal Medicine
