Job Summary
Part-time Family Practitioner (MD/DO) to join Saint Alphonsus Medical Group International Clinic (Center for Global Health & Healing) in Boise, ID. The clinic focuses on the medical needs of families and individuals resettled in the community, delivering trauma-informed, culturally responsive and equitable care. The role involves working within a clinic-based practice, collaborating with interpreters, social workers, health advisors and resettlement agencies to increase continuity of care for diverse refugee populations. The International Clinic offers programs alongside Ob-Gyn, Travel Medicine, Civil Surgeon services, and access to a broad support network. Requirements include MD/DO degree, completion of an ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency, ABFM/AOBFP board certification (or within 3 years), and Idaho medical licensure with DEA/CPhA registrations.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency program
- Board certification through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP) or ability to obtain within 3 years of employment
- Idaho medical licensure to practice medicine in all phases; valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Boards of Pharmacy & DEA
