Job Summary
Provide 24/7 medical care to ACS adolescents across detention sites, school-based centers, and group homes, prioritizing safety and security. Conduct comprehensive screenings, gynecological exams, and well-care visits while administering immunizations, assisting with phlebotomy, and managing medication distribution. Develop treatment plans based on diagnostic data, write prescriptions, and complete all mandated court orders and documentation. Track referrals to external providers, participate in case conferences, and deliver health education on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and parenting. Assist the Medical Director in protocol development and may initiate research initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Current New York State Physician registration
- Board Certification in Family Medicine
- Minimum three years related experience in family, pediatric, adolescent urban populations
- Must pass all appropriate screenings to work in a secured setting with young people

- Spanish language proficiency
