Job Summary
Provide comprehensive medical care, health maintenance, and preventive services to patients across all ages and backgrounds. Deliver medical evaluations, diagnoses, treatments, and ongoing patient care while exercising clinical judgment aligned with accepted standards and organizational policies. Maintain current medical staff privileges, complete medical records timely, and communicate effectively with clinic staff, employers, and insurance representatives. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and participate in preceptor training for medical assistants. Maintain unrestricted Nevada licensure, DEA certification, and current ACLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited residency program in the applicable specialty
- Eligibility for, or certification by, the appropriate specialty board
- Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state
- Active Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) license in the State of Nevada
- DEA and Board of Pharmacy Controlled Substance licensure
- Current board certification in the applicable specialty or board eligibility in accordance with medical staff bylaws
- Current ACLS (Hospitalists)
- Ability to communicate with employees, physicians, patients and administrative staff in a courteous and professional manner
