Job Summary
Family Medicine Physician in the U.S. Army Reserve Medical Corps delivering comprehensive care to Soldiers, family members, retirees and eligible beneficiaries in inpatient and outpatient settings, including pre- and post-operative care, while supporting humanitarian missions, leadership development, and various benefits. The role emphasizes patient care, medical leadership, and service to the country within both peacetime and contingency operations.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy; foreign graduates may apply with permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates
- Current license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico
- Eligibility for board certification
- Completion of at least one year of an approved graduate medical education internship
- Between 21 and 42 years of age (waivers granted on a case-by-case basis)
- U.S. citizenship
- Permanent U.S. residency
