Job Summary
Conduct outpatient family medicine care with a predictable Monday-Friday schedule and light rotating telephone call coverage. Manage procedures, staff support, and clinical documentation using EPIC EMR and the DAX Copilot AI tool to streamline workflows. Deliver safe, equitable care within an integrated nonprofit health system featuring strong community referral networks and administrative support.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited medical school as an M.D./D.O.
- Successful completion of a Family Medicine Residency at an accredited healthcare institution
- Board Certification/Eligibility in Family Medicine from said residency
- Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA for prescription writing
- Current Alabama Medical Board Medical License as a current M.D./D.O.
