Job Summary
Conduct outpatient family medicine care with a predictable Monday-Friday schedule, managing procedures and light call rotation on a shared basis. Utilize DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, to streamline workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review and signature. Maintain full compliance with Alabama Medical Board licensing, DEA registration, and BLS certification while supporting staff within an integrated, physician-led medical group. Deliver safe and equitable care to patients within a well-established community featuring robust referral networks and exceptional administrative support.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited medical school as an M.D./D.O.
- Successful completion of a Family Medicine Residency at an accredited healthcare institution
- Board Certification/Eligibility in Family Medicine from said residency
- Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA for prescription writing
- Current Alabama Medical Board Medical License as a current M.D./D.O.
