Job Summary
Provide comprehensive family medicine services to patients in a multi-specialty practice in Queens, NY, with a focus on Bengali-speaking communities. Responsibilities include routine check-ups, health screenings, immunizations, management of acute and chronic conditions (e.g., hypertension, diabetes), ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and educating patients and families in both English and Bengali. Coordinate care with specialists, maintain thorough documentation in electronic medical records, and deliver culturally competent care to improve health outcomes for Bengali-speaking patients.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program
- New York State medical license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- Bilingual in Bengali or relevant experience supporting Bengali-speaking communities
