Job Summary
Provide comprehensive family medicine services in a multi-specialty Bronx practice for Bengali-speaking patients. Responsibilities include routine check-ups, health screenings, immunizations, and preventive care for all ages; diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, respiratory infections); order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests; prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans; educate patients and families in English and Bengali; coordinate care with specialists; maintain accurate EMR documentation; deliver culturally competent care tailored to Bengali-speaking communities; work part-time (2-3 days, Monday–Friday with 1-2 Saturdays/month) with malpractice and benefits as described. Qualifications include MD or DO, NY license, Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine, and openness to new graduates; bilingual in Bengali or relevant experience is required.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program
- New York State medical license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- Bilingual in Bengali or relevant experience supporting Bengali-speaking communities
