Job Summary
Precept residents in outpatient clinic, direct patient care, and outpatient prenatal and pediatric supervision. Manage inpatient care and optional inpatient OB, including operative OB if interested. Serve as an integral member of the AKFMR faculty in an advisory role while partnering with the medical director to ensure an excellent clinical learning environment. Support resident learning across outpatient, inpatient, and remote rural Alaska settings. Join a collegial faculty team focused on a rigorous curriculum emphasizing rural and underserved communities.
Required Qualifications
- Board certified Family Medicine Physician
Desired Qualifications
- Prior teaching/precepting experience
- Full-spectrum Family Medicine
- Strong background or interest in academic Primary Care
- Experience/interest in conducting and publishing research
- D.O. candidates with an interest in OMT
