Job Summary
Family Medicine Physician Assistant for locum tenens coverage at a correctional facility near Seattle, WA. Provide outpatient primary care to adult patients in a secure setting with 7:00 AM–3:30 PM shifts, 8–16 patients per day, and no call. Duties include treating injuries and acute illnesses, conducting follow-ups, performing physicals, managing corrections-related healthcare needs, providing urgent care, treating complex chronic cases, and performing minor procedures. Requires Internal Medicine or Family Medicine board certification, BLS, WA licensure, and DEA; sutures and injections experience preferred; corrections experience preferred. Assignment duration: July for 3–6 months; on-site; prescriptive authority required; government facility enrollment processes and credentialing typically 1–2 weeks.
