Job Summary
Supervise residents on labor and delivery, newborn nursery, and postpartum care while overseeing bi-weekly OB clinic supervision. Provide prenatal care and manage inpatient or OB deliveries as a liaison between obstetrics, pediatrics, and family medicine departments. Ensure residents meet all ACGME/ABFM Women's Health competency requirements within a 517-bed level 2 trauma center and 37,000 sq ft Family Medicine Center.
Required Qualifications
- Family Medicine Residency Faculty Physician with a focus in OB
- Supervising residents to meet all ACGME/ABFM Women's Health competency requirements
- Passion and enthusiasm for teaching full-scope family medicine
- Practicing full spectrum including prenatal care
- Prenatal care
- Inpatient OR OB deliveries
- Works as liaison between obstetrics, pediatrics and family medicine department
- Supervises bi-weekly OB clinic in the Family Medicine Practice
- Supervises residents on labor and delivery, newborn nursery, postpartum
