Job Summary
Provide primary care in a family medicine clinic; evaluate and treat patients; document care in medical records; conduct patient interviews, histories, and physical examinations; perform diagnostic/therapeutic procedures under physician supervision; assist physicians in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatments; requires NP/PA licensure and ongoing functional competency; benefits include base salary with potential productivity bonus and APP incentive plan, comprehensive health benefits, and loan repayment support.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program
- Current licensure as an advanced practice nurse in Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the ANCC or equivalent body, or certification as a Physician's Assistant by the NCCPA
- Licensed as appropriate in the state of Georgia
- May require at least one year of direct experience in one or more high acuity clinical specialties
- American Heart Association BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications required; ACLS may be required in some areas
