Job Summary
Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join Emory Healthcare’s Primary Care team in Stockbridge. Core duties include evaluating and treating patients, documenting care in medical records, conducting patient interviews and histories, performing physical examinations and selected procedures (e.g., cast application and wound care), assisting physicians with diagnoses and care plans, and prescribing treatments. Requires completion of an accredited NP or PA program, active Georgia APN license with ANCC (or NCCPA for PA), and BLS (ACLS may be required in some areas). Minimum 2 years of appropriate Primary Care experience and ability to manage a patient panel in a collaborative, team-based setting. Base salary range: $102,000 to $128,000 per year, with potential productivity bonus and APP incentive plan; benefits include health coverage from Day 1 and student loan repayment. Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program
- Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body, or Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Licensed as appropriate in the state of Georgia
- American Heart Association BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications required. ACLS may be required in some areas.
