Job Summary
Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner role with Emory at Eagles Landing in Stockbridge, GA. The APP will assist in evaluation and treatment of patients, document care, conduct patient interviews, perform physical examinations and specialized procedures under physician supervision, assist in diagnosing medical problems, develop care plans, and prescribe treatment. Minimum qualifications include an accredited NP or PA program, Georgia NP licensure (ANCC) or PA certification (NCCPA), BLS (ACLS may be required in some areas), and at least 2 years of Primary Care experience with patient-panel management. The position offers a base salary of $102k-$128k per year, potential productivity bonus, APP incentive plan eligibility, student loan repayment, paid parental leave, comprehensive benefits from Day 1, and a commitment to diversity and equal opportunity. Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program
- Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body, or Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Licensed as appropriate in the state of Georgia
- Minimum of at least one year of direct experience in one or more high acuity clinical specialties
- American Heart Association BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications required; ACLS may be required in some areas
- Minimum of 2 years of Primary Care experience as an Nurse Practitioner
- Experience managing a patient panel and running independent clinic
