Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner

Assists in evaluation and treatment of patients in a Primary Care clinic as part of a collaborative patient-provider team. Responsibilities include documenting care in medical records, interviewing patients, taking histories (psychosocial and health), conducting physical examinations and performing diagnostic/therapeutic procedures under physician supervision (e.g., cast application, wound suturing, dressing changes), assisting physicians in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatments. Requires completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or PA program, Georgia licensure as an advanced practice nurse with ANCC (or NCCPA for PA), and BLS (ACLS may be required in some areas). Minimum 2 years of Primary Care experience with patient panel management and independent clinic operation preferred. Eligible for base salary range of $102,000 to $128,000 per year, with potential productivity incentives and employee benefits including health coverage, student loan repayment opportunities, and paid parental leave.
