Job Summary
Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients; document delivery of care in medical records; conduct patient interviews and histories; perform physical examinations and specialized diagnostic/therapeutic procedures under physician supervision (including cast application and wound suturing/dressing changes); assist physician in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment. Base salary range: $102,000 to $128,000 per year with potential productivity bonus and APP incentive plan; benefits include student loan repayment, paid parental leave, comprehensive health benefits from Day 1, and a diverse, inclusive workplace.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program
- Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the ANCC or equivalent body, or Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the NCCPA
- Licensed as appropriate in the state of Georgia
- May require at least one year of direct experience in one or more high acuity clinical specialties
- American Heart Association BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications required. ACLS may be required in some areas.
