Job Summary
Conduct direct patient care in outpatient clinics and inpatient services while supervising residents and medical students across all aspects of Family Medicine. Deliver didactic lectures, review clinical rotation performance, and mentor students for residency matching. Lead curriculum development, participate in scholarly activities, and serve on university and district committees. Provide night and weekend call service in compliance with ACGME requirements. Report to the Program Director of the established 8-8-8 Residency Program.
Required Qualifications
- D.O. or M.D. degree
- current unrestricted license to practice in the State of Arizona
- current DEA license for schedule 2-5 drug classes
- be insurable for medical liability coverage
- Board eligibility or certification in Family Medicine specialty
- Night and weekend call service
- passion for teaching Family Medicine
- strong demonstrated commitment to providing patient-oriented approach to healthcare
- collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit
- desire to work in multidisciplinary and inter-professional teams
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
