Job Summary

Lead inpatient and outpatient care while supervising residents and medical students across the Family Medicine Residency Clinic and Valleywise Health Medical Center. Deliver didactic lectures, review clinical rotation performance, and mentor students for residency matching. Engage in scholarly activities, serve on DMG committees, and develop curriculum in compliance with ACGME requirements. Provide night and weekend call service with proctoring available. Report to the Program Director of the Family Medicine Residency Program.

Required Qualifications

  • D.O. or M.D. degree
  • current unrestricted license to practice in the State of Arizona
  • current DEA license for schedule 2-5 drug classes
  • be insurable for medical liability coverage
  • Board eligibility or certification in Family Medicine specialty
  • current unrestricted license to practice in the State of Arizona
  • current DEA license for schedule 2-5 drug classes
  • be insurable for medical liability coverage
  • Board eligibility or certification in Family Medicine specialty
  • passion for teaching Family Medicine
  • strong demonstrated commitment to providing patient-oriented approach to healthcare
  • collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit
  • desire to work in multidisciplinary and inter-professional teams
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
