Job Summary
Lead inpatient and outpatient care as an attending physician, supervising residents and medical students in the Family Medicine Residency Clinic at South Central clinic and the Valleywise Health Medical Center inpatient service. Deliver didactic lectures, review clinical rotation performance, and mentor students seeking residency matches while participating in scholarly activities and committee work. Provide night and weekend call service and adhere to ACGME requirements for curriculum development and quality improvement. Maintain current licensure, DEA registration, and board certification in Family Medicine. Report to the Program Director of the Family Medicine Residency Program.
Required Qualifications

- administrative and scholarly activities in compliance with ACGME requirements
- Night and weekend call service
- D.O. or M.D. degree
- current unrestricted license to practice in the State of Arizona
- current DEA license for schedule 2-5 drug classes
- be insurable for medical liability coverage
- Board eligibility or certification in Family Medicine specialty

- desire to work in multidisciplinary and inter-professional teams
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
