Job Summary
Core faculty role leading and teaching within an established Family Medicine Residency program. Responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient direct patient care, supervising residents and medical students, providing lectures and didactic teaching, precepting, curriculum development, and engagement in scholarly activities. The position involves leadership and oversight of inpatient and outpatient care, teaching, and supporting the academic mission of Creighton University and the Family Medicine Residency Program, with opportunities to mentor students, participate in quality improvement, and contribute to curriculum development and university-affiliated academic activities. Night and weekend call service are required; proctoring available. The role requires a D.O. or M.D. degree, an unrestricted Arizona medical license, a DEA license, board eligibility or certification in Family Medicine, and potential visa eligibility including J1 or H1B.
Required Qualifications
- D.O. or M.D. degree
- Current unrestricted license to practice in the State of Arizona
- Current DEA license for schedule 2-5 drug classes
- Board eligibility or certification in Family Medicine
- Strong commitment to graduate medical education, teaching and mentoring residents and medical students
- Ability to teach medical students and residents, supervise residents and students in clinic and inpatient service, participate in quality improvement and scholarly activities
- Willingness to meet professional certification/licensure requirements and maintain licensure
- J1 or H1B visa eligibility
