Job Summary
Academic core Family Medicine faculty role in the Phoenix campus residency program, encompassing inpatient and outpatient care, supervising and teaching residents and medical students, and engaging in curriculum development, scholarly activities, and committee work. Responsibilities include didactic teaching, rotation oversight, performance review, quality improvement, and leadership within the residency program; candidates must have D.O. or M.D. degrees, an unrestricted Arizona license, a DEA license, and board eligibility or certification in Family Medicine. Night and weekend call are required; J1/H1B visa eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- D.O. or M.D. degree
- Current, unrestricted license to practice in the State of Arizona
- DEA license for schedule 2-5 drugs
- Board eligibility or certification in Family Medicine
- J1 or H1B visa eligibility
- Strong commitment to graduate medical education
- Teaching and mentorship of residents and medical students
- Participation in scholarly activities
- Leadership and curriculum development experience
